What to Expect with Dental Crowns

If your dental team recommends a dental crown, you’ll need to come in for an initial appointment to prepare and shape the tooth for the crown. We’ll take impressions so the crown can be created precisely, providing a match to the affected tooth and nearby teeth. During your second visit, the crown will be secured in place and checked for fit and comfort. After that, you can return to your usual activities and eating habits.
