How Do I Know If It’s a Dental Emergency?

It can be difficult to assess whether an issue is a dental emergency or not, so we always recommend calling our offices if you aren’t sure. In general, dental emergencies may include;

• Lost or knocked out adult teeth
• Impact or injuries to the mouth, face, and jaw
• Bleeding that will not stop with gauze
• Extreme pain or sensitivity
• Signs of infection in the teeth, such as red or swollen gums, fever, and tooth pain
