What to Expect During Your Visit

Dental exams are customized to your needs but typically involve a visual and physical examination of your teeth and mouth, as well as updated digital X-rays to assess what we can’t see. We’ll also evaluate changes to the teeth and mouth, including the condition of existing dental work and screening for signs of oral cancer. 

What We’ll Monitor and Assess

Everyday life can impact your oral health, even with stellar at-home oral care. Oral exams allow us to regularly monitor changes, looking for potential issues such as cavities, bite issues, misalignment of the teeth, damage to the teeth (such as chips or cracks), gum disease, and much more. We’ll discuss our findings with you and suggest follow-up steps or treatments based on the results of our examination.
